How guzey2 works

A few useful things this page can do.

Things I'm excited about right now (summer 2026)

Please reach out if you have thoughts and would like to help with any of these:

  • A Tyler Cowen map.
  • Supporting cool science projects (and cool scientists!!!) via New Science.
  • Becoming fluent in Italian.
  • Figuring out how to make progress on the human condition.
  • Starting a fund with friends to help my friends build companies and to make money.
  • Getting comfortable being on camera and publishing videos of myself.
  • Winning my almost 25-year battle with social anxiety.
  • Helping direct the OpenAI Foundation towards a just, beautiful vision of the future.
  • Working towards the world in which everyone has the ability to pursue their dreams (this is my vision of the future).
  • Visiting the stars (eventually).
  • Doing things before they're due.
  • Helping OpenAI ensure that AGI benefits all of humanity.
  • Figuring out what is it that let me, for example, to understand that Why We Sleep is pseudoscience on the first page of the introduction, and figuring out how to teach that skill.
  • Speaking clearly and maintaining my balance even when I'm nervous (rather than mumbling and forgetting to breathe).
  • guzey2.com (!!!).
  • Becoming more honest with myself.
  • Asking people “what's the meaning of life?” and “what are your dreams?”
  • Building a life with my girlfriend.
  • Figuring out the post-capitalist and post-socialist political philosophy.
  • Automating scientific progress (e.g. proposal for this I like).
  • A map of Emergent Ventures Winners.
  • Understanding the future of moral progress.
  • Going on road trips now that I have a driver's license.
  • Pondering consciousness and how to study it.
  • Reading lots of books and watching lots of movies.
  • Getting healthy (e.g. tinnitus, various chronic viral diseases, nearsightedness).
  • Becoming wiser and more intentional.
  • Learning to love life & to love death.
  • Sitting upright more; slouching less. (thank you, Brontë!)
  • Writing a book (you might be able to guess the topic).
  • A hyperhuman, beautiful, and sincere future.
